Tree Plantation Drive Conducted At Colaba Military Station

In continuance of its efforts to create and maintain a green cover over Colaba Military Station, Headquarters Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area in collaboration with an NGO initiated a tree plantation drive. Officers, JCOs and OR along with their families participated in the even aimed to spread environmental awareness and the need of protecting our flora and fauna.

The occasion was graced by Zonal President, Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) Mamta Prashar and other officials and families of the Military Station. Speaking on the occasion Ms Prashar said, "These trees are an investment for future generations and shall provide cleaner air by increasing green cover." 

TOGETHER: Families and officials participating in the plantation drive

The event was concluded with a resolve of participating in more such initiatives in the future to revitalize the ecological system and ensure survivability of the saplings planted.
